SiriusXM is a satellite radio service. It does require a subscription and has packages ranging from $11/month (XM Mostly Music) to $20/month for All Access where 175+ channels are available.
Some of the newer factory radios have satellite radio tuners built-in (SiriusXM subscription still required). If your car radio doesn't have it built-in, there are several different ways we can add SiriusXM to your ride. A satellite radio tuner can be added to many existing factory stereos. We sell a lot of aftermarket stereos that are satellite-ready allowing an optional SiriusXM tuner module to plug right in. Car-Fi also offers a variety of stand-alone add-on satellite radio tuners.
Stand-alone SiriusXM tuners hook up to you existing stereo either through an AUX input with an audio cable (best performance) or with an adapter through the FM section of your radio.
If you don't want an extra display stuck somewhere, a satellite radio tuner can be added directly to a quite a few car stereos. Many of the aftermarket in-dash receivers we sell from Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer and Jensen are made to add a satellite radio tuner. The hideaway add-on tuner plugs into your SiriusXM-Ready car stereo without the need for any additional cables or interfaces.
SiriusXM tuners can also be added to many factory stereos. You'll need an additional adapter along with a separate add-on tuner. Call us today to discover which option will work best for you.
